“Under water flood light”, by Rich on Feb 04 2010
I just got my flood light in the mail today. I used it tonight and I have to say it is AWESOME!!! I fish the chain of lakes and the water is pretty murky, especially at night. I put the 3 AAA batteries in an screwed the cap back on (make sure you have the L.E.Ds pushed in the cap all the way) till it could go no further and boom! I had light! This light is pretty bright, but it has some sort of filter to make it less intense. I attached it to my Scout and headed out to the channel I go to during the day, I gave the light a twist and plopped it into the hole (ice fishing of course). I slowly lowered the cam til it was just above the bottom and gave the cam a spin to see what was around. Right away I noticed a cloud of mud had been stirred up, turns out I landed on a fish! A few seconds later some gills and crappie showed up looking at the cam, to my surprise they didn't really seem to be bothered by the light, though there were some that darted off into the night. The light worked great, no leaks no problems. It seems to be very solid, even though this was the first time I used it. I noticed a very large number of bugs were attracted to the light, and yes the particle reflection was WAY LESS then the built in L.E.Ds plus I could see my jig about 3ft from the cam, which is about what I get during the day. I give this five stars because the quality is great and it work very very well. I will keep you up dated. Good luck!
